| Never before in the history of British socialism has such a tribune been in the hands of the working class! Those that have studied the history of the labour movement know the names of the great socialist propagandists, all of whom could speak to large audiences, keep them spell bound and recruit hundreds of workers to the socialist cause. Tom Mann, Ben Tillett, Hyndman, Eleanor Marx, Sylvia Pankhurst, Harry Quelch, Harry Pollitt, William Gallacher and so many others. These are giants of our history. But in that long history of the socialist movement in Britain, there never has been a propagandist who has built up an audience as big as the one which George Galloway is building up! These are historic achievements and the Workers Party is rightly proud to call George Galloway our party leader. |
