Geopolitical Bulletin – Summary
This week’s bulletin focuses on the escalation and regionalisation of the Middle East conflict, growing pressure on global energy routes, the BRICS summit in New Delhi, and mounting political and economic pressures in the United Kingdom.
The bulletin examines the risks surrounding the Strait of Hormuz, the Red Sea and Saudi Arabia’s oil infrastructure, as well as the continuing violence in Gaza and the growing role of Iraq in the regional conflict. It also looks at the BRICS response and China’s upcoming presidency in 2027.
In the UK, the bulletin covers economic pressures, immigration-related tensions, the NATS air-traffic disruption and new diplomatic frictions involving the United States, China and Argentina.
